| Removed Object Detection |

Effective and rapid detection of abandoned objects is more important than ever before, not only to prevent attacks on landmarks, public transportation and critical assets, but also for ensuring Health and Safety in the workplace.
It tracks objects at a train station and determines which ones remain stationary. Abandoned objects in public areas concern authorities since they might pose a security risk and can be used to assist security officers monitoring live surveillance video by directing their attention to a potential area of interest. In railway stations, airports and other public spaces, it can be very difficult for camera operators to quickly spot items that have been left behind. With the omnipresent threat of terrorist attack, security staff are under increased pressure to respond swiftly and effectively to these situations as they occur. It can be configured to generate an alert highlighting an abandoned object, allowing a compatible Video Management System to immediately show footage of when the item appeared, allowing the owner to be identified and correct action to be taken. |
